CH. ZOLDMALI POMPAS CHEWBACCA (Chewy)
Hand delivered all the way from Hungary by his breeder Miczek Zsofia on November 7, 2007. Well respected and well known for producing some of the finest Wirehaired Vizsla's to be had, Zsofia has bred Champion after Champion. What's in a name? ZOLDMALI is the kennel name and will stay with him in all registries. Pompas is the name given him by his breeder which in Hungarian means "Magnificent". Which he has repeatedly shown himself to be. Chewbacca, from our favorite "Star Wars" movie, because we think he is out of this world.
UPDATE.
Chewy has finished his training for his NAVHDA Natural Ability test. In spite of some adverse weather conditions Chewy achieved a respectable Prize II.
Whether it be in the fields or in the woods, Chewy has shown us point after point. He is doing an outstanding job for a young dog and we are very pleased with his progress.
Chewy loves the water and never hesitates to dive in if the situation requires it and even when it doesn't.
With the NA testing behind us we took Chewy back to the show ring. With the same "Force" that drives him in the field and woods Chewy won first place in class, best male and best of winners. Added to the 3 first place in class, 2 best males, 2 best of winners, a best of breed and 4th place in group from his previous show gave him more than enough points to earn him his championship degree. Great job Chewbacca!! We will continue to show Chewy when possible and work toward Grand Champion.
Chewbacca's loving nature and willingness to please has made him a welcome addition to our family. We have high hopes for his accomplishments in the coming year, and look forward to many fun times with him.
